COVID-19 Alert Level 1 Protocols

Well done New Zealand!

We’ve so far stopped the spread of COVID-19 but together we still have to minimize the risk of of COVID-19! As such, we will follow 5 safe hygiene and contact tracing practices in our fight against COVID-19 during alert level 1.

Safe practice 1: Communication

We will email you the day before our appointment to confirm you are feeling well.

If you are experiencing any of the below symptoms, please let us know and reschedule the lesson for 14 days later at no cost to you.

Symptoms of COVID-19: new or worsening cough, high temperature (at least 38c), shortness of breath, sore throat, sneezing and runny nose or temporary loss of sense of smell.

Safe practice 2: Disinfect

Prior to and at the end of each lesson we will sanitize all contact surfaces including door handles, steering wheels, keys, ignition, indicator and window wiper levers, vehicle controls including mirror and window adjuster, gear stick and hand brake.

Safe practice 3: Greet

Before the lesson, we will meet outside the vehicle to confirm you are feeling well. 

Again, if you are not feeling well or are displaying any of the COVID symptoms, please let us know so we can reschedule the appointment.

Safe practice 4: Contact Tracing

As required by law, we will be displaying the government tracing app for you to sign into.

Safe practice 5: Sanitize

Both customer and instructor will need to sanitize their hands before and after the lesson. You are welcome to bring your own otherwise sanitizer will be provided.

Face Masks

During Alert Level 1, students are not required to wear a face mask however you are welcome to wear one if you prefer. You can bring your own or one can be provided to you. Likewise, disposable gloves can also be provided should you require these.
