Recording Consent and Media Release

• Security Recording

  To promote the safety and security of students, instructors, and the public, all driving lessons conducted in a Social Driving Academy instructor vehicle are subject to video and audio recording.

  By making a booking and attending a lesson in the instructor’s vehicle, you acknowledge and expressly consent to your lesson being recorded. These recordings may be retained and used by Social Driving Academy for security, safety, incident investigation, quality assurance, staff training, and legal or insurance purposes where required.

• Educational and Promotional Recordings

  Students may request that a driving lesson be recorded for educational and promotional purposes, whether the lesson is conducted in the student's own vehicle or the instructor’s vehicle. Requests should be made to the instructor before the lesson commences.

  By requesting such a recording and proceeding with the lesson, you acknowledge and expressly consent to Social Driving Academy recording your lesson and using, reproducing, editing, publishing, distributing, and publicly displaying the resulting video, audio, photographs, and other media, in whole or in part, for educational, promotional, marketing, advertising, and other business purposes.

  You understand and agree that this content may be published on Social Driving Academy's website, social media platforms, video-sharing platforms, advertising campaigns, printed materials, and other marketing or educational channels, and may be accessible to the public worldwide.

  Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you waive any right to inspect or approve the finished content prior to publication and acknowledge that you are not entitled to any compensation, royalties, or other payment arising from the use of the recordings.

  If you do not wish your lesson to be recorded for educational or promotional purposes, you should not request such recording. Security recordings in instructor vehicles will continue to apply as outlined above.
