Driver Training at COVID Protection Framework (CPF) Red Traffic Light Level

CPF Red Traffic Light Level Protocols

Well done Aucklanders!

From Friday December the third, New Zealand will move to the new COVID Protection Framework (CPF) otherwise known as the traffic light system. Auckland will start off at the RED traffic light level. At this level, close contact businesses like driving schools can operate with vaccine requirements and COVID precautions. As such, we will follow 7 safety procedures to keep everyone safe during the red traffic light level.

Safe practice 1: Communication

We will email you on the day of our appointment to confirm you are feeling well. If you are experiencing any of flu like symptoms, for example a high temperature (above 37.5c), please let us know and reschedule the lesson for free.

Safe practice 2: Vaccine Pass

At the red traffic light level, we can only provide driving lessons with vaccination requirements. This means we will need to sight your vaccine pass and verify it with the vaccine verifier app.

Please download your Vaccine Pass here.

Safe practice 3: Contact Tracing

As required by law, we will display the government tracing QR code for you to sign into.

Please download the app here.

Safe practice 4: Disinfect

Prior to and at the end of each lesson we will disinfect all contact surfaces including steering, vehicle controls and doors.

Safe practice 5: Face Masks

Both instructor and student will be required to wear a face mask. Please bring your own.

Safe practice 6: Greet & Temp Check

Before the lesson, we will meet outside the vehicle to confirm you are feeling well. Again, if you are not feeling well or are experiencing any of the COVID symptoms, please let us know so we can reschedule the appointment for free.

We will also use a temperature gun to confirm you do not have a high temperature.

Safe practice 6: Sanitise

Both customer and instructor will need to sanitize their hands before the lesson.

Thank you for helping us keep New Zealand safe!
